This Privacy Policy explains how Concat Apps collects, uses, and shares information when you install and use PopSpin Spin Wheel Email Popup (the “App”) on a Shopify store.

Summary

  • We process store and customer-provided information to run the spin wheel, create/sync discounts, and show analytics in the App.
  • We don’t sell your personal information.
  • We use Shopify’s APIs and store some configuration data in Shopify (for example, app metafields/metaobjects) and some operational data in our database.
  • If you uninstall the App, we delete or de-identify App data within 30 days (unless we’re required to keep it longer for legal, security, or billing reasons).

1) Information we collect

The information we receive depends on how you use the App, which features you enable, and what data Shopify makes available to us.


A. From merchants (store owners/admin users)

  • Store details (shop domain, store identifiers) and App settings you configure (campaign content, rules, colors, templates).
  • Merchant contact information you provide to us (for example, name and email when contacting support).

B. From storefront visitors (customers)

  • Contact details submitted in the spin wheel form (such as email, and optionally phone number and name if the merchant enables those fields).
  • Technical and usage data needed to operate the widget (for example, browser/device information, events such as “spin” or “copy code”, and eligibility/frequency state stored in the browser).

C. From Shopify (store data accessed via the Admin API)

  • Customers and customer records (to create/update customer data when enabled by the merchant and permitted by Shopify).
  • Discounts and discount configuration (to create, read, and manage rewards and discount codes).
  • Theme/app embed information (to help you install and verify the widget on your storefront).
  • App configuration storage in Shopify (for example, app metafields and translation metaobjects used to render campaigns on the storefront).

2) How we use information

  • Provide core functionality (render the wheel, validate eligibility rules, show results, and support copy-to-clipboard and countdown experiences).
  • Create and manage campaigns, discounts, and reward delivery flows configured by the merchant.
  • Provide analytics, debugging, and performance monitoring.
  • Provide customer support and respond to requests.
  • Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3) How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We may share information in these limited situations:

  • Service providers: we may use third-party vendors to help us operate the App (for example, hosting, monitoring, or customer support chat). They are permitted to process information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal and security: we may disclose information to comply with applicable law, protect our rights, investigate fraud/abuse, or respond to lawful requests.
  • Business transfers: if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

4) Data retention

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the App, meet contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you uninstall the App, we delete or de-identify App data within 30 days, unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or billing purposes.

5) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6) Cookies, analytics, and third-party tools

  • The App may use cookies or similar technologies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and operate the storefront widget.
  • We may use monitoring/analytics tools to understand App usage and improve reliability (for example, performance logs and error reports).
  • If enabled, live chat/support tools may process information you submit in support conversations.

7) Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information. You can also uninstall the App at any time from Shopify.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, when appropriate, provide additional notice (for example, in the Shopify App Store listing or within the App).
